Meet 2019-2020 recipients of the Pursue Excellence LaceLocker® Scholarship
We are thrilled to announce to the recipients of the 2019 - 2020 LaceLocker Pursue Excellence Scholarship at SUNY Fredonia.
Hannah Pawlak is a freshman who is studying Visual Arts and New Media. She is from Dunkirk, NY. Hannah is dedicated to her studies and enjoys playing the piano.
Ilene Priscilla 'Curly' Thompson is from Bronx, NY and is studying Psychology. 'Curly' has dreams of pursuing an M.D./PhD and becoming a sports psychologist working with athletes. She is also a track and cross country athlete, having run a variety of distances at University Heights High School, from 200 - 1,000 meters as well as relays. Curly also played basketball and softball in addition to track and cross country. Curly has already fallen in love with LaceLockers®. They will make sure her laces are 'Never Loose Again'. Ilene continues as the 2022 recipient of the LaceLocker Pursue Excellence Scholarship. Ilene will graduate in May of 2023.
